Oem Optional Equip. Side skirts VS. Imatations
I am about to buy a set of OEM optional side skirts. I dont want to get ripped off, so is there any way of telling the difference. Wouldn't there be HONDA stamped somewhere on them, or is there any other obvious differences. I dont want to pay the price for the OEM ones, and end up with fake ones. Any help is appreciated
OEM is a perfect fitment and its polyurethane.
The opposite for replicas depending on who you're getting it from
I say get the OEM, less headaches along the road

Yeah, I'm definatly going to get OEM. I looking at a set someone is selling. I just want to make sure they are OEM before I buy them. I want to know if there is any difference just by looking at them.

the only replicas i've seen are fiberglass, and those are really easy to spot, just look at the backside. the replicas look 'hollow' (like a shell) because they fit over your stock side skirts. the oem optional sides are meant to replace your stock side skirts, so they look 'solid'.
