I just got the CycleGear catalog, and they have some nice prices on Arai lids.

I don't need any, since I got the deal of a lifetime on 2 Arais, but they are selling the Astral models for 299 (reg. 469), so I figured I'd pass this on to you guys.

 

Any prices on the 05' Edwards RX-7 Corsair?

I don't need a new helmet but that thing would look sick with my current gear and bike

 

i was tempted to pickup an arai rx7 corsair at the bert's mega mall sale last week. if i remember correctly... they were going for $300-350

I got my RX-7 for like $380-$390 shipped on Ebay and I thought that was cheap!

but none of them really caught my eye and even at about half the price of msrp it is still a lot of money for me to justify spending on what would have been a 4th helmet.

you know on the cover page, bottom right corner, that 20% off coupon thing... do you know if that's the actual coupon? maybe i'm blind, but i didn't see any other coupons that mentioned 20% off in the catalog.

Glad you asked.. the little triangular piece is the actual coupon. I was gonna go to Berts but I got that in my mail so I went to the CycleGear in Fullerton with the whole catalog and asked. They said I just needed to give them that one triangular piece. I bought a pair of Alpinestars SMX Plus' for $209 Too bad its for only one item that's not on sale.

 

you're lucky you didn't go to bert's this time around... the sale sucked other than the arai rx7 corsair and shoei tz-r helmets being pretty cheap. damnit and i stayed up all night to get there by 5:30am too.
hmm... i can't decide what to use the coupon for. better gloves, better boots, or another helmet
why'd you go to the one in fullerton? wouldn't the one in laguna hills be closer to you? i might be getting a job at cyclegear there because i know the assistant manager and she might be promoted to manager :crosses fingers:

I've had good experience from the Fullerton one with my past purchases. I've never been to the one in Laguna Hills. I'll check it out.
I say use the 20% wisely because its not too often that you get to buy whatever you want with 20% off. Probably wanna use it on the most expensive purchase. I wish I had waited on my Dainese Bora jacket and have used this coupon. I would've saved $150

 

i normally hate anything chrome... but i really like the kbc vr1 black chrome helmet. thinking about getting that, plus i figure it'll attract more attention as opposed to a normal gloss black or matte black helmet
ooo... nice choice with the bora, i will own that jacket one of these days.

I got my Rx7-rr4 for $400 at cycle gear couple years ago.
