water that leaks in from the sunroof seal that doesnt drain through the existing drain tubes due to clogging. the water pools in the roof and dumps on your head the first time you hit the brakes. typical problem with many older vehicules with sunroofs

i have a similar problem but water comes from the ground like magic.
well anyways this is what happened. After rainy days i noticed that my car would smell like wet towels
so i check around, and then i check under the driver seat and it was wet. I have no idea how it got in.
It got so bad today that when im parked in the drive way all the water would go to the back and be like 1in high. anyone have this problem? i look under the car and theres no crack or hole. so how is the water getting in?
btw my brothers EK have the same problem. we have no idea how water is getting in.

SoOHiGH-
not sure but might be the air conditioning/heater core. Check under the pass side of the dash. The carpet will be wet if this is the problem. What haps is something gets clogged or springs a leak then water condenses on the core and drips onto your carpet. Think it's mostly an air-conditioning-in-hot-weather problem. Worth checking out.
Stoner's Fix:
Use a sharp tool like a screwdriver to poke holes in the floor.lol

Basically what happens is after a heavy rain you start your car and begin driving and water comes pouring into the car through the sunroof. It is certainly enough to make a bad day a lot worse.
