Default LSVTEC exhaust?

I was wondering what kind of exhaust I should be getting if I am going the lsvtec route? Since the block is LS, I was thinking that I should get the exhaust that fits LS's..or no? GSR or Type R?

If it is better to go with a custom route, what inch should I with?

Thanx.

haha, no, I think what he's asking himself is which size diameter exhaust he should get!
Luckily for you I also have an Ls/Vtec Teg and just bought my new exhaust this week. I went with a custom 2.25" header back exhaust with resonator and high flow cat. If you can find a used ITR cat-back that would also be a good choice. Hope this helps!

Oh ya, don't go with 2.5" unless you think you'll be making 200whp+ it's useless.

I'll try to keep this simple, it depends on what header you use, I'll assume you plan on using a JDM length header and a 17''~ cat, then use an exhaust from a 94-01 type r or LS, or a 00-01 gsr. The 94-99 gsr's are the "weird ones" they have shorter cats and longer b-pipes its like a 4in diff or so.
