Need advice on buying a used accord...
I am planning on buying a used (most likely 2000-2002 accord 4-door, or 2000-2003 2-door).
I typically work on my own cars, add a few aftermarket parts, etc.. However I have never owned a Honda, and I don't know which years/trims/engines are better than others. So I figure I'd look up a fourm on the net with some people who actually work on them and see what they have to say.
I would like to know which engine available in those years was the most reliable, also which engines have the most aftermarket support/easiest to squeeze more power out of.
Reliability is a big factor with me, so of those years, which parts most often fail. In other words, what can I expect to have to repair right away on an accord of those years.
When I go shopping for one, is there anything I should keep my eye out for? (Good or Bad)
Last thing, is there anything I should have asked that I did'nt?
Thanks,
Kevin

get a 03 V6 6speed . . . other than that, just make sure you dont get an auto if you get a 6th gen. they tend to not like mods at all
