i own a 90 integra ls with a 97 b18 motor swap. one major problem. dog-o-matic. i need a 5 speed. anyone done the auto to manual swap? how difficult is this? any tips? thanks hters

 

well i know thats its gonna cost some $$$ not cheap...i rather jsut have a shop do it if i was in your shoes....but thats all tips that i have

 

I've done it on my 1991. It's not hard but it is a lot of work. If you search on G2IC, we've got a complete How-To guide.

I just got done with an auto to manual swap. Its alot of work..expect to buy the obvious clutch and flywheel along with the transmission but you will also need a new drivers side axle, a new transmission mount, countless linkages, pedals, clutch cylinder, and other little pieces that will give you nightmares. Its well worth it for the time and headaches invested, go for it just make sure you don't cut corners.
