Default Honest opinions Please

Firstly, hello members...nOOb here.

I have a new set of tires getting installed on my 90 Civic SI today on stock rims. My question is because my factory wheels covers are in rough shape should I get a new set or should I repaint the rims jet black and leave the covers off?

I have seen a few posts here that mention just using steelies but not sure how they will look. Wanted some EM1's but just can't afford that right now, so trying a more affordable alternative.

Thanks.

Take the hubcaps off. Paint the steelies black.

Yeah, take off the hubcaps. Because if you've ever curbed with a hubcap, you can bend it, and in my personal opinion, 3 out of 4 hubcaps on a car gets a .

So, get those steelies sprayed.

Matte = Flat

Spray paint is cheap enough that you can try both to see which you like the most.

I think gloss shows all the imperfections and flat is too flat, try semi-gloss or semi flat wichever it is

Exactly no matter what you do to them, they will still always just be steelies. Just paint them black and be done with, who cares what kind of black it is.
