I am starting to build up my LS and have a question that needs to be answered.
I dont want the stock look so plan on getting a kit of some type..

Are there any kits that are Aerodynamically fuctional?

Ummm . . . well I could get very technical with the answer to this question but I will keep it as simple as possible. The answer is

NO

Some bumper covers incorporate splitters and other such devices but outside of that there is no gain from a body kit - only losses due to added weight and added surface area. Really the only purpose of a body kit is to make a car look tacky while increasing the risk of damage to your car due to speed bumps, tire chunks and other road debris. I know that isn't the answer you were looking for but there is no crossover between performance and Bling! Bling!

Here are some aerodynamic enhancements that work - but only when approaching triple digit speeds:
