if you were to do like a skunk 2 intake mani an fpr header full exaust , cold air intake and some good tires and a good clutch you should be like mid 14's

But if you want to get low 14's to high 13's your best bet is to get a nitro kit with like a 50 shot

My guess would be he posted in the All Motor forum, because he wants all motor. Just a guess though. I would also say get some slicks.

What do you mean by dies, exactly? Because I can run a 14.8 in my 00 Si. It could be any number of factors. The driver, your launch, 60ft, hell, it could be the type of EG you have

How much does your weigh find that out for starters and with the mods you have it must be easy to do low 14's or high 13's with slicks

eveytime i launch and gun the car as soon as it passes the vtec the engine light will pop up.and that means vtec is not workin.i can just tell because it doesnt pull hard like its supposed to.and by just cruisin on 1st gear and waiting for the vtec to pop.but theres none.maybe the vtec wiring?

well my clutch is in good condition.and tires are about 85% thread life.and my car is an EG (VX).my next step is hondata s200 and camgears.will it matter if i dont get the exhaust cams yet?( i already have the intake cams)

and using slicks? im not really comfortable using them. cause i dont wanna break ****... lol maybe i will tho.. dont know yet.

squeezing? good idea.. but i wanna keep it all motor..

yea you can definately tell whether vtec is working or not, it is loud on the dohc motors, you might need to replace your vtec solenoid

just because your CEL comes on when you pass vtec doesnt mean it DOES NOT work.

how about you slow down on droppin more cash into your car, and find out whats wrong with it. maybe you will get a better time, when the motor is working properly.

it doesnt matter what cams, or what ecu you have, if your compnents arent working, it will give you nothing, and most tuners wont mess with your **** if there is a bunch of CELs either

yeah.. but my motor works perfect when i use stock p30.its just does that when i use p28. im thinking that it might be the vtec wiring or the solenoid.

this guy is my friend..i dunt think he can hit as low as 14's now becuz he just traded his hatch with an integra with a front end conversion....its pretty clean..and he put on his b16 on it.......the runs will be on the 9th of april..he said that he will tune it with hondata..and still run it..but i doubt that he will run as low as 15 if he cant even hit it with his eg...

to reach low 14 and mid 13 u need to do acomplete build up of ur motor. Higher compression, port job, valves, and a better suspension to go with the power. You can shave some weight on the car to help the power to weight ratios also.
