Oaks Racing Prelude Update
Thought we would share some pictures from the NOPI event in Arizona over the weekend. We had ton's of power with the new engine when we left Denver, but the altitude difference had us running extremely rich on fuel preventing us from running well. We will post more setup pictures later this week. Oh yea some real good news - the car weighs 2630 lbs with driver.

It will all come together this season.

awsome, so I guess you didn't break your record of 11.2? speaking of H22's, I heard the onefab H22 civic ran an 11.2 in arizona, pretty good considering its a internally stock motor

car looks sick man...on a different note, have a couple of quick questions. Are you having any issues with temps using the half rad? also, Is it possible to use that half rad but still retain a/c?
Once again, sweet car man. Madd props to you guys

How did you get it so light? Does it still qualify in the street class? OR is it considered not a street car anymore by what you've done? Cause damn with all that hardware plus being a prelude that weight is too damn light!

I doubt taht will be a problem, with the power they are producing and the weight(about the same as a EK civic) they should hit tens easily assuming they have their suspension dialed in. Lets hope Low 10s.
What size slicks are you guys on? 26inchers?

Ran bad 11.7 - don't remember mph but it was low - the elevation killed us by having way too much fuel. Wouldn't rev above 7000rpm's. But it was a good first test - tranny setup, front end and suspention held up good.
They are 25" slicks - It can still be driven on the streets - no overheating problems - Its going to be a fast year.

With that said though, what class would you be competing in? What exactly did you do to reduce the weight? Lexan windows? Whats missing to get it to that weight. LOL
