Oaks Racing - Nopi Arizona
We very much enjoyed the NOPI experiance!
Meeting our new friends from Honda-tech was worth the trip - It was also nice to race at an event where there was a crowd watching with very fast competition.
We would like to thank PFI - Brent, Rick, and our good friends for helping us get the new engine built and ready when there was no time. Rick it was awsome to give up your block and pistons to help us make the race.
We had serious horsepower leaving Denver Friday evening, but the altitude change gave us fuel issues - like way too much for once. We learned from the experiance and look forward to the rest of the race season.

We wish we could travel to all the NOPI events - just not possible at this time, but hope one day its not an issue.

It was nice to finaly meet you. You guys keep working hard and it'll pay off in the end. Keep it up and I hope to see you guys at more races. Remember the rig starts in Cali and it'll pick you guys up on its way to texas and on the the east coast.

Mike that was the piston from Wednesday night - the Venom injectors crapped out on us. We built another engine Thursday/Friday before traveling to Arizona. Our local track opens in about 3 weeks and we will get some good times.
I had a feeling it was injector related, i saw the same thing on Eric Del Rosario's car when one of his injectors fowled up at IDRC finals qualifying... I helped Roy of Exospeed put a new block together for him over night and Roy and the crew got the car going to make it to the finals... that was a fun event... haha...
Glad to see you recovered and made it to phoenix...

Hey Oaks nice job this weekend. You need to call Justin at Indy Import and give him **** about getting his Prelude on the track. He is really on edge to get it finished. It needs to go in the chassis shop for a couple things and some jackass with an Insight has their car in the way

Indeed. I can't wait to see the car run this year. It was sooo close to 10s last year, I can't wait to see how far in the 10s you guys can run!
