I just bought my new car...1998 audi a4 1.8t quattro/manual.Its my first car outside the honda realm.I know all member on h-t hate e racing and what have you.Im just wondering how fast you think a chipped a4 would do against a bolt on ls?Maybe its a stupid question...but anyways,if any of you have had experience with both i would greatly appreciate it.Thank You

 

my cousin did the same thing u did after his teg got stolen. he got an a4 and that thing hit 14.8 stock. ( think so IIRC, but im not sure)

 

chipped A4 will win.

I highly doubt that a 150~170hp/155~166tq, 3087 lbs car can hit 14.8 stock.

now if it were to 2000+ A4 model with the twin turbo 2.7Liter V6 w/250hp 258tq...that's a bit more believable.

 

shoulda got a S4.. j/k its really up to you and god luck with it
