how do i remove my drive shaft to take motor out ??
do ne of u guys know where i could find DIY on how to take out the driveshaft or one on how to remove the engine out of the car???
step one: axle nuts... pry out indent on nut in groove area, then, using a 32mm socket or equivalent sae sise drive, use a very large breaker bar and/or cheater bar setup and have one person hold on brakes very good and one or two people jumping on bar to break the nut loose... make sure you use craftsman stuff because when you do break the tools they are free replacements
step two: after nuts are off, remove lugnuts, raise car, remove wheels, remove cotter pin under the steering knuckle assembly and remove the 14mm castle nut
step three: separate lower ball joint at bottom of steering knuckle assembly... this can be tricky without a ball joint separator.
step four: pull knuckle assembly away from the lower control arm and the axle will slide right out of that end.
step five: using a crowbar, carefully pry the inner CV joint out from the tranny.
step six: you might need to take the suspension fork off in order to get the axle out, and that has a 17mm bolt/nut combo at the bottom and a 14mm on top that connects to the shock absorber.
installation: reverse procedure.
good luck! I broke 8 tools trying to get my nuts off.... that was exciting. we ended up using a 3/4" breaker bar with a 1 1/4" socket... will return to sears soon. have fun!

once you get the steering knuckle off of the end of the shaft, you need to get a pry bar and gently pop the inner joint out of the transaxle. I would get a Haynes manual or something.
will i have to drain ne thing like the transaxle fluid??? it says u have to but is it nessecery and once its out how do i put new one in?
it will drain on its own most likely. if it does not drain then you shouldn't have to refil it... otherwise you have to take the filler bolt off the tranny (17mm and strips easily) and pump the fluid in until it starts to come out of the fill hole
