The 900rr lowering link should have 2 holes for lowering: first one should be 1 inch(but is more like 1.5-2
) and the 2nd is suppose to be 3 inches (but is more like slammed the **** out lol) Id lower w/ the 1st hole for just ridability purposes and you are correct about the triples... loosen the top and bottem triples and lower it about an 1-1.5 inches w/ the 1st hole and it will look good and wont bottem out
. Just to let you know when you lower you battery box is going to bottem out but im in the process of building a custom box so it wont bottem out if you are interested ill build you one (as long as you just pay for parts ill do it for free)
If you got any more Q's just let me know

yeah my link has 3 holes on the bottom.. but I will proabley use the middle. I want it slammed. and is there anyhting special I have to do when putting on the link? the guy had it on there and said it was for like a zx11 or something. they are 2 peices of metal with holes drilled. and my 929 one is one solid chrome peice..

All i have ever seen for Hondas is the solid lowering link. Im assuming what you have is a DIY peice he made. If you need the solid lowering link... let me know.. If i make an order before 2pm then i get it next day
And nothing special... What i do (kinda on the ghetto side) is i take of the front seat and i run a strap under the subframe and connect it to my engine jack to lift the bike up a slight bit while someone holds the front. Just loosen the bolts and put in the new link.. Takes all of about 20 min. to do honestly.

Here is a picture of it lowered 2 in the front and about 3 or so in the rear.

Thats using the middle hole in the link. It scraped alot like that...looked good though.
