Default Which bilstein are these? Need to know asap

im thinking about buying these bilstein shocks with ground control coilovers. the problem is the person doesnt know what model the shocks are and what the spring rates are on the GC. He only knows it came out of a 96-00 civic he bought.

So can someone help me out and identify these shocks?
how much will they lower my 98 hatch?
do you think this is a good deal?

I don't know what model the shocks are. They might have a part number stamped in them. If so do a search on H-T and google for that P/N.

It will lower your car as much or little as you want, since they are adjustable coilovers.

The spring rates are on the springs. Have him send you the part numbers on the springs and post them here.

EDIT:

Here are P/Ns I found for 96-00 Civic:

Front Heavy Duty PN: BE5.2336
Rear Heavy Duty PN: BE5.2337H0

Front SPORT PN: BE5.6408
Rear SPORT PN: BE5.2337H1

alright he replied with this:

they are coilovers (72717 - gc180.64.44) and the shocks are (f4-be5-2337-ho).

does that seem right for my 98 hatch?

is the spring rate good for a comfortable ride?

well that looks like it's the correct part number for the rear heavy duty shock for your car. The spring part number can be decoded here:

http://norcalcrx.org/tyson/coilover.html#05

I'm a nice guy so I did it for you:

gc180.64.44

7" long 2.5" ID, 250#.

Now this is only one of the springs (I'm guessing rear), but based on that I think these are just the OTS Ground Controls.

Brand new this setup would cost you about $700-800, so if the shocks are in good condition I'd say it's a good deal.
