Hi All:

I have decided to sell my 1997 RS125R. The bike has not been raced since Aug 1999. It has been in a temp conntrolled Garage since then, I start it up every couple of months to make sure everything is OK.
The bike has been on the race track only 9 times. It was bought from a high ranking official in D.C in 1999. The original owner bought it in mid 1998 as a year old NEW bike, he raced it in 1998 and 3 weekends in 1999. I bought the bike in 1999 and was only able to race it once.
The bike comes with a few spares, a stand and a FACTORY A TEAM Kevlar air box and air inlet. Also the stock Tail piece with stock seat.

This really is a brand new bike with only a handful of races on it.

Depends on the gearing..You change gearing depending on which track you are runing at

So... what about on an 'average' track and a 'high speed' track?

 

On an average track I am sure you can hit 110-120..on a high speed track like Daytona may be 130 or so

 

I know someone who's interested in this bike. Can you elaborate on the spares?

 

Spares include some plugs, gears, seals ..
A used crank and cylinder ..
Rear stand, an extra tail piece
Not many spares since the bike is almost new and wasnt used too much at all..
