Default 88 crx hf or 93 cx for all motor street car?

i have a built motor waiting for a home.. i curently drive a reliable 93 cx for my daily driver.. and i am picking up an 88 crx hf today to either drive daily or do the swap. I have all the oem bseries mounts and shift linkage for the hatch...to swap the motor... the hf is lighter.. but i might end up spending $500 more on a hasport hydro tranny kit and some change for si hubs and ob0 to obd1 conversion.. i still need a header... which chassis would you recommend?...
