Default H23 auto tensioner? (searched)

I bought an H23 and have been rebuilding it to put in my prelude so that i can get it running soon but as i was looking over the engine the other day i noticed that it had an auto tensioner which i thought only the H22s came with and the general opinion seems to be that they suck. I was just wondering if any H23s came with auto tensioners or if someone put it on the engine and is it worth it to return it to the manual tensioner as my H23 that came with the car should have one. The motor that i bought was out of a 92' Si.

as far as i know no h23s ever came with the auto tentioner, perhaps someone put it on there because they were lazy and didn't want to have to tighten the timing belt.

convert it back to a manual tentioner
