my friends car has a b18c1 in it and there is a problem i dont know what it is however i have a few ides the problem is it will rec beutifly into vtec and at like 6500rpm vtec will cut out and the revs will drop down and then it will come on strong again

not yet no the check engine light is on but havent checked for codes yet it feels like its missing in the ignition system almost
