Default H22 swap HELP

Have a 1994 accord with 4th gen h22a

Does anyone know if there is any way to get around welding or brazing the p/s lines to make p/s work?

Can I use a my 5th gen accord p/s pump and bracket on the h22?

Or of any other way around the welding and brazing for fairly cheap?

And if i can use the accord pump what type of belt would i use?

Thanks in advance.

any shop that makes hydraulic hoses can take the fittings off the hoses and put them together.

I'll use my car as an example to make myself clear...
i have a prelude pump (1995 jdm motor) in the 5th gen. I went to the junkyard and picked up a 95 lude high pressure hose (my swap didn't come with it u might get lucky, even if its cut u want the fitting that goes into the prelude pump only) for $20 Then i took the lude hose and my old accord hose to a place called Hydraulic Supply here and they took it and in two hours i had a hybrid hose for $50 bucks.

Prelude fitting on one side, accord on the other and a new hose in the middle. Have them make it the same length as the accord hose.

Good luck.

you just take the accord brackets off the old motor and bolt them to the new h22. then you mount your p/s and ac onto those brackets and you are set.

The AC bracket works but not the p/s.

I am using a 97 Prelude pump and bracket so I didn't have to deal with the brazing. Under a $100 for the bracket and pump and I kept my Accord PS line.

Just wanted to let you know I stand corrected, my 97 Prelude bracket came in yesterday and when I went to bolt everything together my stock ps line didn't match up to the 97 pump. I ended up using the 97 Prelude bracket and my stock Accord pump. If you try it this way it may save you some money and time by using that bracket and your Pump. I am finishing everything up today I will let you know if there is any problems with clearence issues.

Good info.

So any 5th gen prelude bracket with accord p/s pump and line = working.

What gen accord is the H22 in?

I have my H22 in a 5th gen and I had to order the 97 prelude bracket from http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com because no one had one, which was $73 plus $10 appx. for shipping.

thats true..but only if you have enough of the hardline from the prelude PS pump to do that. if you had to buy a new powersteering hose and weld that things might be different. pics are mandatory now!!!!
