i have 90-93 teg axles and a zc tranny. i have been reading that when you sawp a b16 in, you must remove the dust seal on tranny in order to use ther teg axles. does this have to be done in order to use zc tranny?

The ZC tranny wont fit the B16 motor anyway

 

im using a zc motor with a zc tranny. but when i was reading about swaps, i found that with a b16 swap when you use teg axles, with a b16 tranny you have to remove a dust seal on tranny. so i am using teg axles with my zc tranny, and i was wondering if there is a dust seal that must be removed?

 

the dust seal thing must only be for the b16, ive never heard anything about a dust seal when using teg axels on a zc

 

yes, you need to remove the dust seal from the back side of the hub where the axle goes in when using the 90-93 Integra axles with the 88-91 CRX/Civic hubs
