Do I need a camber kit with my Tokico Illumina coilover kit?
I just purchased a Tokico Illumina coilover kit for my 2000 Civic Si. Tokico suggested that I also put on a camber kit if I plan to drop it more than 1.5 inches. I have 18in. rims on my car and heard that the camber kit could be a problem, but not sure why. First of all, do I need a camber kit? Second, do I need them for the front and back? Third, who makes good cambers for a civic...skunk2? Fourth, should I have the coilovers and cambers installed at the same time? Please let me know. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
a camber kit is always a good idea to have cuz u dont wanna spit through tires no do u? u should check and see if ur wheels have positive or negitive alignemnt....just stand back and look at em....my g/f has a 1.5 in drop, and she REALLY needs a camber kit....so yeah..my 2cts.
If it were me, I would just install the new suspension and take the car to an alignment shop to have the alignment redone at your new ride height. Forget the camber kit unless you just don't like the way it looks.
