What is the Blue Book value on it? It'll be just around there.
I can't seem to find specifics on your car there. Is it just a bolt on kit? Was the motor built? Add a couple hundred to the KBB price if there is serious work. Otherwise, cars don't gain value with aftermarket modifications.
Excellent rims, full stereo system, turbo kit, etc.....might fetch in total another $1000 MAYBE.

Listen to shamoo about resale value. He's right, but if you find the right person who thinks your car is just ****, you can sell it for closer to what you want for it. Instead of selling it on carsoup or in autotrader, take about 15 pics in and out of the car with a well described paragraph of what you have in your car and your power and sell it on ebay with a 7 or 10 day auction. That way, you can see what or if people wjould pay what you want for it and if they dont meet your reserve price, you have the right to not sell it at the end of the auction. Try that if you really want to sell it for what you have into it.

Let me leave you with an example. I never sold a car on ebay, but I found the right guy to buy a car that I used to have. I had a 95 del sol dohc vtec (B16A3/stock) and the blue book was 6000 on it. It was red, mint condition, lowered and had an intake. I was asking an insane 9000 in autotrader. This kid came to see it, offered me 7000 and I told him I'd take 8000. I sold that car for two grand over the resale value because he only wanted a delsol and he really wanted mine! Plus, the car only had 75k on the clock and it was babied.

In addition to my post, I also agree with this one. There is always someone looking for your car the way it is now. If you're lucky to stumble upon that person(s), then you might be lucky to sell it at a higher price (reflecting the aftermarket that you put on it).
Not to discourage you, but I put over $15K into my 1997 LS, that I bought brand new for $21K. Sold it for $9K. Fully built motor, turbo, stereo, thousands of dollars in extra parts (seats, amps, cams, etc). Not only did I NOT get the $9K, but I got scammed and only got $4K.
I chalked it up to my bad luck and all the older people I spoke to about modifying cars is right. It's a waste.
