Hi all I have problem with finding the transmission drain plug oil
I have a honda accord 94 ex, i know where the dipstick is but i have troulbe finding the drain plug of the transmision, by the way this is automatic transmission. Thank a lot.
It may not be a bolt type plug. It may just be a plug with a 3/8 socket hole in it. Just stick your 3/8 socket extension in the hole and open it up. Not sure which is on your vehicle.
MY 90 plug was seized up and no breaker bar could break it, Thank God I did not screw it up. Instead cheap 5 dollar plastic hand pump sucked all the transmission fluid out, 4.5 qt through the dip stick hole as indicated by honda manual.
if you could remove yoru right from wheel it would be much easyer but if not its on the right side of your engine it doesnt look like a normal plug ull have to use Stew Pidasso's method if you want to try or use BAYDREAMER's method...
