Help! New guy! prefromance and shifting question
Hi guys just about five months ago i got a new 04 accord. It's my first stick shift. My main question is what kind of parts could I put into it to get the best prefromance. My other question is what RPM should I shift at to get good prefromance out of my car.
Basic things are short shifter, clutch, and flywheel for the transmission. I personally wouldn't replace the factory ones until they need to be. Heres a nice link to short shifting techniques:

Other basic bolt-ons are intake, header, exhaust.
Can't really answer the RPM question because it is broad. Try doing a search it really helps you find some great answers.

dont redline yoru engine till its fully broken in u dont want premature wear on your transmission..i could last forever if you take care of it.... hmm i as far as shifting goes.. if you dont like wasting gas and buying it all the time shift at 3000-4000 rpms preferably at 3000.. if you want to push it its best at 5500 not at redline.. pretty much after 5500 your not going to gain any more speed..... so if you shift at 5500 your be picking up speed faster than redlining it then shifting..
^^what he said about not redlining till its broken in . . . i would say disregard everything else. when you redline your more likely to drop back into the powerband of the car, and since you dont know the peak Hp point you would have no other shift point. . . just dont bounce it off the rev limiter. rev limiter does not equal redline
youre questions arent really clear . if you are talking about the track, start at redline then go frmo there and to get the most performance boost it. intake and headers wont give you any noticeable -performance.
