how many oxygen sensors has the type R

I baught JDM B18C-R engine 1996 spec OBD2,

I only have one oxygen sensor in the down pipe. I think that i need two oxygen sensors, one before the cat inlet and one after the cat outlet. Is that right?

JDM ITR motor is OBD2A it only comes with one O2 sensor. The USDM which are OBD2B come with a primary and secondary

The JDM ECU does not require a secondary oxygen sensor.

Please don't post if you can't give acurate information.

96-99 USDM Integras are all OBD2a and require the same O2 sensors as a 99-01 USDM Integra that is OBD2b.

OBD2b was created becaseu Honda got in trouble with the earlier ecus.

JDM ecus use different circuit boards, do not have as many sensors and are not as strict on emmisions as the US.
