cheap flex pipes???
for cheap flex sections go here
http://www.racepartsolutions.c...s.asp
40% cheaper than most others...thinking of how much people mark these things up makes me sick. you guys who make downpipes might also wanna check out their o2 sensor bungs too only 3 bux. just trying to help out the fellow DIYer....
BTW anyone know of an affordable place to get silicone couplers by the foot? 5 bucks for one 3"x3" section is freakin *** rape with no vaseline man.

BTW, racepartsolutions rocks, I've ordered a bunch of stuff from them. usually one of the first places I check.
also, found http://www.epiflex.com/epi_flex.html for 3.5 flex sections. I heard they're not cheap though.

hey, i found this post and decided I would throw my 2 cents in. I've bought stuff from race part solutions, they usually have what i need in stock. they have lots of mandrel bends and those flex pipes. I think they may even have them bigger than 3". Cool thing is they are starting to carry aluminum mandrel bends, i bought some to build my intercooler pipes along with some silicone hose and t bolt clamps.
there's even better ones at http://www.pagparts.com/perfpts10.asp?pprd=flexbellows w/ inner braids. 3" and 2.5"

wouldnt you end up with a smaller inner diameter using a flex section with inner braids?
i have a maxrev dp with a flex section w/inner braids and it ends up taking up at least 1" of my inner diameter. im guessing thats part of my spooling problems.

actually, not at all, I have one of these on my lap and the inner braid does not impede on the inner diameter. I notice these help quiet down the resonance of the exhaust and its 3" straight through. Its a quality piece
