90-91 RS LS GS question
What Integra did a d16a8/a9 come in? I read up that it says only 90-91 GS have 130hp and 121 tq which is bs because I have a b18a1 in my 91 RS. It says 90-91 LS/RS have d16a8/a9 which have 137 hp 108 tq which is a ZC. I read this on many places that cover engine specs for older cars. Unless its a different country?
The first Gen Integras had D16A1s in them, rated at 113hp/99tq for the 86-87 and 118hp/103tq for the 88-89. All 90-91 Integras came with a B18A pushing 130hp/121tq. The 1992-93 RS/LS/GS came with the same B18A but was OBD1. These were rated at 140hp/126tq. The rarest of the B-series engine came standard on the 1992-1993 Integra GS-R. The B17A1 VTEC engine tossed out an impressive 160hp/117tq.
Also as you were saying the ZC is a JDM motor. The early generation ZC was a SOHC with 120hp/100tq. The 2nd generation ZC motor is a DOHC also non-VTEC with 129hp/106tq. All of these rating can vary slightly between versions mainly due to changes in compression ratio, so don't take them as a rule, rather an estimate.
