Im still trying to buy this red type R I found, but im uncovering some quirks, the engine block has been replaced and the springs on the car are yellow.
Could anyone tell me if yellow springs on Type R's in Australia are stock ?
Its a red type R with 38,000 km on it and everything appears to be in great condition.
Also I noticed a bit of grime around the control arms, would u say thats normal or should i check the shocks in more detail to make sure that they are ok ?

It depends what kind of springs they are. If they are only a bit stiffer than stock, you can keep it, and maybe put some KONI's under the car and you're set.

Why don't you hassle the seller. I doubt he would have thrown 'em away.
I kept mine when I changed to the Spoon Progessives.
