I was chillin at work today and I began to think about who is the fastest STREET LEGAL HONDA (sorry Knightsport, Cobra and other fast domestic/NON-h cars). Just for the sake of this post street legal = DOT approved street tires, 75% of interior [i.e. no gutted shells], carb legality is not an issue. Please post times, trap speed and basic mods.

Well.....not on street tires but my car is only like 5% gutted. Best on street tires was a 12.43

 

most likely various hatchbacks with built B series turbo setups will be fastest street cars

 

I ran on slicks. Haven't tried street tires. Maybe next weekend.
11.4 at 118.8MPH.
110% interior (even the spare, and mad garbage inside the car)

 

Anyone making serious power cant run full boost on even BFG's without blowing them away....Therefore, they have to de-tune...

The Fastest your gonna find on DOT Rubber is gonna be a High 11. Its all about slicks baby...

Don't know how fast but mines up there, most likely running 12's.....could be mistaken, though, flame away.

 

turbogsr ran an 11.90 is a 100% stock bodied/interior GS-R, but I don't recall if it was on slicks or street tires..

 

I'm going to try to go for low 11's or better this year on DR's. I am going to be having alot better chassis/tire setup this year. The 11.68 was on 20x8 MT slicks and the car was pretty well slammed and had no camber correction. I got the Comp Eng. traction bar setup and Skunk 2 upper control arms on the way. Still deciding what tire to go with. I am thinking about 225/50-16's. I could only pull low 1.9 60's with the slicks. I should easily be able to do that or better with the new setup. We'll just have to see....
