Default Hondata Datalogging Question (searched)

I wasn't sure where to put this, so I figured I'd rather ask the prelude fellas. I just got a datalogging unlock code today for my S200, and when I try to use Hondalogger, it will connect and run for about 1 min, then my laptop will crash and reboot on it's own. I even searched the Hondata forums and found one thread related to this problem, but no real answers. Just wanted to see if any of you guys have had/hear of this problem and any possible solutions. Sorry that this isn't prelude specific, but I didn't know where else to post this, mods be gentle.

Laptop:
AMD Mobile 1600+
128Mb DDR
WinXP
Hondalogger Version 3.6.1.0
Prolific Serial to USB adapter(no serial port on laptop)

You need the Keyspan USB-> Serial adapter.

For some reason thats the only damn adapter that works. If I use anything else the ****** crashes. Go figure.

So, on a related question:

Does anyone make a scan tool for Honda that will read all of the data the ECU stores?

What do you mean, all the data? You mean something that will dump the eprom? I've never used it before, but Hondata's ROM Editor will do it.
