Default Prostreet FLywheel any good?

hey guys found a decent price $500 prostreet flywheel (13.8 lb) and ha3 hdss
need some input..
wont have any time to machine my flywheel on the day of my install..
ps i know fidenza is better but dont think my current engine can handle the quick rev cycling (h23 200,000km on it) dunno how much life is left in that puppy and with a fidenza id be probably killing it even quicker..

$500 for a flywheel seems really high to me. I would go with the Fidanza, you can find those all over ebay for dirt cheap....but dont listen to me i own an automatic

A Fidanza is only $200 shipped and only weighs 8lbs. Money well spent for a quick street car imo.

he's saying 500 for a flywheel and clutch combo, you won't be killing the motor quicker by doing this, and for the idle issues after you put the flywheel on, just adjust the idle a couple of time to get it right, stalling issues are common, just have to get used to it

You wont have idle issues with the 13 lb one, but maybe with the fidanza (i do). BTW, adjusting the idle via the tb is useless. Ive tried.

hondata, but my car wont idle at all, it has big cams and a super light crank pulley too, so it had to be raised up.

Unlike the Fidanza, our flywheel will stand up to more heat, and will not warp. We have been using our flywheel in 500whp EVO 8s, and 450whp B series Hondas.

We have seen Fidanza flywheels unable to get a new friction plate, due to flywheel warpage.

Saving a topic from the underground

I also find this combo a nice one. I'm gathering information about the ACT HDSS clutch => some people like it, some has/have problems with it.

But the Flywheel from ProStreet? Anyone using this at the moment (or used) and can tell me the quality of it (like/not liked it)?

Fidanza is way to light for me, 13.86 lbs (which the ProStreet has) is the weight for me.

The Prostreet one says: Meets and exceeds SFI 1.1

The Competition one says: Meets and exceeds SFI 1.5

Which is better? 1.1 or 1.5?

And has it to do with strenght of materials? Or what?
