Default Race prep

okay so this friday my friend(91 integra ls wants a rematch against me(94 civic si hatch). last time i took him, and he says he got new stuff and wants a rematch. so i was just wondering what suggestions you guys have to increase hp and quicknest with minor time or money.

i plan to before the race:
1. change oil(little over 3k now)
2. new trans fluid
3. new oil filter

i just put on a custom cold air intake. it fells alittle weak compare to my original ingen intake. but i can fell VTEC kick in with thte cai. and no VTEC with the ingen.

And what rpm you d16 lanch at?
i've usually launch at 3k and feather out the clutch. my friend told me to launch it at 4.5-5k and drop the clutch. i tryied this and the neddle stays at redline all the way(peels alot)and grips. it seems to work pretty good as well. whats ur tips on luanching.

sorry if it dosent really make sense. just have to win. loser pays for lunch

bounce the tach off the rev-limiter for a few seconds and just dump the clutch. Dump it hard too so the dash hits you in the knees.

Change whatever else you can. Change the fuel filter maybe. Or use some SEAFOAM right quick. 7 Bucks and 10 minutes of your time.
