Molding In front lips.

Default Molding In front lips.

I'll be molding in my front lip on my car so I was just wondering If there was any interest on a detailed writeup w/ pictures of the process. ?

If your car is low then i wouldnt recommend it. If you hit a bump you can crack the molding.

It's not lowered so it'll be fine for now. I plan on using the abs body filler that is flexible along with paint with a lot of that flex addative.

yeah i was planning to do this to my 99 replica mugen lip.. theres a few gaps underneath the foglights so i hope i can make it look authentic!

Ok ive been taking pics of the process so far and will bond the lip and start filling it in today. I've only had this car for about a month now so theres not a whole lot done yet.

Lets see some pics. :D It sounds like it might be a bad idea though. Nothing ever good comes from molding body panels together. Even the stress from normal driving could crack the molding. Good luck with it though.

Pics coming soon I just got the bumper off and am prepping it to be glued together. I already have about 6 pictures so far.

This is the lip I chose for my project.
Start by cutting off these stupid little tabs.


now that you have the tabs off sand the inside of the lip so it's nice and flat for maximum contact area when you aply the glue.

Tis is all I have done for now more to come tonight.
