Default question about compatability of oem cd players

quick, easy question. what oem honda cd players can i use in my 94 gsr? does it need to be obd-1? appreciate any help

you can use any that fit. emissions doesnt have anything to do with your cd player! i have a cd player from my 97 accord in my 94 gsr. it has a plug in the back for a disc changer, which i also have, and the antenna only goes up if you select am/fm, not every time like with the stock deck.

oh i assumed wiring changed between models. so a newer integra cd player should be fine then. thanks for the help.

yeah, just think, when you go to buy a cd player at bestbuy, its not vehicle specific. even if the plugs in the back are different, all you hafta do is match up the wire colors to each other! good luck!

they use either an fm modulator or a conversion adapter allowing the stock controls to work. For a stock gsr you can get an alpine changer and appropriate cord as that is who made your unit.
