Default Best Coil-Over / Drop Spring set up

What would be the best set up for either coil-overs or drop springs for a '99 Integra GS-R? I have been looking at the Tein and the ApexI N1's but I dont know what the best set up would be......hit me up with some companies and ideas

Mark one for the H&R Coilovers. A superb setup!

Also, well priced.

Can't go wrong w/ H&Rs or Teins, they are great products but they are a bit pricey. Less expensive would be to get Ground Control coilovers with Koni yellows (single adjustables). You can get all that for about $850-900, plus you can custom order the spring rates for the GCs if you want.

how much loot do you have, and is this a street ot track car?
Mugen Lowdown (street) http://www.kingmotorsports.com
Mugen N1 (track)
Toda Fightex (external reservoir) http://www.todaracing.com/Fightex.html

these are in the $1500-2500 range (you did say best)

I think a couple of guys in the ITR forum have the lowdown setup - do a search, its in there. I am not sure if anyone is running the N1 or fightex

Do the H&R coilovers let you adjust the stiffness of the ride as well as the height? Like Koni yellows do? Just askin' because I'm looking at getting a coilover setup for my teg too.

All coilovers mentioned here have "threaded" bodies which allow you to customize the drop/ride height. I don't know if H&Rs have adjustable damping on their shocks. Even if they do, keep in mind that ideally shocks should be "tuned" to a particular spring rate, such that it is not over- or under-damping the bounce from the spring. If the H&Rs are not adjustable, I'd be willing to bet that the shocks are tuned to the spring, as most high quality coilovers do this.

Ha, you want expensive, try Mugen's Moton remote-reservoir double adjustable threaded body shocks (whew, say that 5 times fast! ).

You too can have a set of these for the low low price of just $1199.95 per CORNER (4 required per car, obviously).
