Why did the headlight suddenly fog up?

I don't get this. I've had my car for over 8 months now and I've never had any problems with the headlights. Now just last week, I suddenly get massive condensation inside BOTH driver side lenses. I could probably use a hairdryer to dry out the high beam lens, but on the projector lens, it's behind the outer plastic cover, so the projector lens would block a hairdryer being able to dry off the inside of the cover. Am I just going to have to remove the plastic cover to dry it? And what in the heck could cause this problem to pop up so suddenly?
Just so you know, I've never had a headlight explode in the housing, I've never had the headlights apart or anything, and I've had the 9005 conversion for over 6 months now, and no problems until just last week. Any ideas?

i had a leak in my headlight so i pulled the headlight housing out of the car and took a water hose and put in one hole and plugged the other hole. the housing filled up with water until it had to come out of the place where it was leaking. it was leaking where the clear plastic meets the grey plastic on the top of the housing...i guess the seal was broken. so i put some silicone there and let the headlight dry out. no problems now.
I have a 98. My driver side did this about 8 months ago. Warranty repair. I put in the 9005 conversion, doubling up the o-rings. Now, 6 months after the 9005 install, the pass sie is all fogged up. Warranty time again!!

one reason that the headlamps keep fogging up is that you have taken the light bulbs out too many times. I remember the first time when I took mine out, it was a really tight. after messing with them with aftermarket bulbs, the fitting became loose, not as tight when you turn them to click. that may be the reason if there's no holes or cracks in the lights housings.
humm, so am I seeing a trend with the 9005 conversion? hummmmm
maybe it's good i never did this....

I had my 9005 conversion for over 6 months before this happened. And when I want to show someone the difference between 9005 and stock, I always take the passenger side light out to put a stock bulb back in, but it's my driver side light that's fogging up.
