I need new tires...can't decide whether to pick 205's or 195's...if you say to choose the 195's tell me which series (50's or 55's) and why. I know with the 205's i'll be getting 50's if i do gettem.
Also, money isn't a factor for tires so which tire would be best for ALL season...i live in Wisconsin where we get a shiet load of snow during the winter
I was thinking...ES100's or Ziex's.

If you are looking to run these tires all year, don't get the EVS100's. They suck in the snow. I live in Chicago. Go with the Falken's if you MUST choose between the two. Otherwise, look for the BFG KDWS in either size. DWS = Dry, Wet, Snow if you are looking for a good all season tire that will hold up in snow and dry traction.

Get 205-50's. My brother got some on 96 gsr wheels and they look sick...way better than my 195-50 yokohamas...I prefer the 195-55 though cause the ride is more comfy and less harsh...

i guess that's what the big question is...is whether to run the 195'55's or the 205'50's...man...can't really decide...
then tires too...i'll look into the BFG's considering you have almost the same weather i get
anyone else?

Stick with the 195/55-15, if it's available in the tire you want. It will maintain the accuracy of your speedometer and odometer, will be less expensive than 205, and will do better in rain and snow.
If you want something for year round use, then you should only be looking at all-season tires. Frankly, though, I think you're better off getting a set of true winter tires on a separate set of rims (inexpensive steel rims are fine for winter use), and you can use a "summer" tire like the ES100 the rest of the year. That will give you lots better performance in summer AND winter than an all-season "compromise" tire.
My GS-R rolls on ES100 195/55-15 from early April through late November, and on Bridgestone Blizzaks on steel wheels in the winter.
