I used this ECU when I had the B17 in my car. California emissions require that you match the ECU to the engine in order to pass the ref... so thus the need I had for this ECU. It was chipped when I got it and I later on added a datalogging interface. I have removed the interface but the ECU still has the cut out on the side for it. The ECU is NOT damaged in any way, even with the small cut out in the side. I passed emissions with no problems on this ECU so I know its working fine. Ran it for about 6 months before I went to a B18C setup and thus have no more need for this specific ECU.

I can include the interface if you want for an additional charge. I will sell this ECU with whatever kind of chip you want, launch control, datalogging, MIL shift light... You tell me what you want and its yours with those parameters. This ECU is rare, so please no low ball offers.









Looking to get $200 shipped with the chip of your choice and no datalogging interface. If you want the datalogging interface, I would like $230 shipped.

I might be very interested........Few questions......What kind of chip is in it (Hondata, Chrome, Uberdata, etc)? What was it originally programmed for (mods etc.)??? I'm also curious about the interface, would that allow the user to be able to reprogram it, or just download information from it?

The interface is a standard RS232 to TTL adapter. You plug the cable into the adapter and then into the laptop. I use free software obtained from http://www.pgmfi.org to do datalogging myself as it is.

There currently is no chip in the ECU. Won't be until its sold and someone tells me what parameters they have/want. I can't make a magic chip if you know what I mean. I can ballpark it for you, but you should always put it on a dyno/wideband to fine tune it. It was used on my B17 and then my B18C1..

I'll do $170 picked up with no interface, if you want. Chipped P28's sell for $150 all day. This is a rare ecu, chipped, in working condition. I'm not in that much of a hurry to sell for that price. I am in the Sacramento area. Pickup would have to be sometime on Saturday. I am heading down to Antioch early Saturday morning too, if that helps.

 

I also have a B17, I actually have one P61 already, but I fear it may have problems, if so, it will need to be replaced......And so, I will gladly pay $230 shipped for your chipped ecu with interface........
