I can get the FM900 installed for 535 including tax or the SS for 615 including tax. The FM900 is newer than the SS but the range on the SS is 2x further. What should I do?

 

go by the features, not the age of the unit.

 

i would go with the SS. Mine reached me in the parking lot of Staples Center while I was watching the Laker game. Thats pretty impressive range. It also reaches in stores where I can't get cell phone reception. This is also trying to page the car, not just the car sending me the signal.

 

the clifford rsx 3.5 unit is very nice and so is the g5 series ill have to say
