Are Skunk2 Coilovers any good or is Tien S-tech Springs better?
thanx hahaha.. yeah i wanted to get sum tiens.. but yeah i got offered these coilovers so yeah.. i dunno wat is better
IMO both are pretty shitty.
Look into H&R, nuespeed (i think makes decent springs), and eibach (lifetime warrenty they sag= you get new springs).

Agreed, Skunk2's are adjustable coil over springs, where the S.techs are pretty much a lowering spring. Also, if i remember correctly, the Skunk2's are a linear rate spring while the s.techs are progressive rates. If you are going to be autoxing then the skunk2's would be better as they will be consistent. While for just drivin around the street, the s.techs will offer a decent and tasteful drop in height, but wont offer any real performance gains.
Ive personally owned both, i ran some Skunk2 adj. coils with KYB AGX's and also had some TEIN S.techs with tokico illuminas. Like i said, the Teins and tokis were great for street, but nothing more. Btw, i loved my skunk2/kyb combo.

The S-techs are a great street spring for "ADDED" performance. They do not compare to Skunk coilovers as the Skunks have higher spring rates. I have owned both in the past and I prefer S-techs for their drivability.
Koni yellows will make this a great suspension.
