Windshield sprayer

The right nozzle that sprays windshield fluid is broken. Instead of spraying a nice mist it sprays a stream of liquid out. Is replacing this part hard. Does anyone have a link to instructions? Can I just replace one nozzle or do I have to replace both? Thanks

There isn't much that can "break" on those nozzles. More likely a clump of crap is in the oriface or a hose is crimped. Pull off the hose and try blowing/sucking out the obstruction.
If all else fails, yes, you can replace only one. I haven't removed one yet, but I'm sure the process needed would be fairly evident by looking at it from the underside of the hood.

I think there's a big hole there. When I spray the windshield fluid it does spray a miss. It spits out a whole lot of liquid. So I don't think anything is clog or requires cleaning.
What works really well in cleaning these nozzles is the little metal part from a baggie twisty.
Seperate the paper/plastic from the metal and use it to poke thru whatever is there. Pretreat with some rubbing alcohal too; that should help cut thru any wax/crud buildup in the nozzle.

It's a simple replacement, if you need it. Just unplug the factory sprayers, pop them out from the hood, then get your new set from the auto store, and bolt them in, and re-attach the hose, and you're done. Sometimes, you'll get an air bubble in the line, but that might be the only thing you have to worry about. It's really pretty easy to do.

Not hard on 5th Gens never done it on a 6th gen. Basically clips you push togehter on it and it slides out of the hood. After you disconnected the hose of course. I don't know where to get OEM ones but I would try TAS or see how much the dealer is. You should just be able get one but they may come as a pair I don't know. I replaced mine and they came as a pair but they wernt stock ones so you may be able to get stock ones seperately.
