Honda accord V6 2000 Exhaust
Hi, this car was purchased about 5 months ago and I've never got a chance to fix up the minor problems it has. One of the problem that this accord has is a hole in the exhaust. This accord is a V6 model so where it splits to the muffler is where the big hole is located at.
Now the car was purchased with a body kit and after market mufflers (5Zigens).
Should I purchase a whole new factory pipe from Honda and install it with the two aftermarket mufflers? I think I will replace the whole pipe starting from the Cat to the mufflers, since it seem very rusted.
Another issue is the aftermarket mufflers are too loud. Can I get silencers for the 5Zigen mufflers? All I know is that these mufflers are from 5Zigen and I do not know any other info on them. Are these mufflers good?
Thanks

i thinku should just get a whole cat back set up, because the gains in power will be better... with the 5zigen axle back u should not have a noise problem or need silencers because most exhaust on av6's are not that loud... the reason why its loud right now is probably because of the hole in the muffler.... but im not sure... good luck... peace

yea, you can just get piping...and alot of the noise is probably just coming from your hole...but my friend has a 5zigen exhuast on his civic, and yea, those are pretty damn loud, and its probably even louder on a dual exhuast V6, not sure if they have silencers avaible for them though, and yea, 5zigen is a good brand
