i am putting in a OBD-1 DOHC ZC in my 91 hatch, but my tranny is a 89 d-series tranny. it will work as long as i get a 90-91 flywheel and clutch correct?

Negatory, call PepBoys or Autozone ect. and ask for the part #s on the 89 and 90-91 flywheels, they are different. Match the flywheel and clutch to the trans year. - Darrell

89 is smaller, so if you are using an 89 flywheel, you need the clutch setup from an 89. 1990 and up are a little bigger, so you can use any clutch set from 90-00 o to match a flywheel from 90-00. i believe all d-series motors use the same flywheel and clutch set from those years. i have a 90 flywheel and clutch in my 89 hatch with my 89 transmission attached to my 93 z6 motor, so it will all bolt up. just make sure, like i said, to get a 90-00 clutch/flywheel combo, or stick with 89 clutch/flywheel setup.
