Default New cam gears coming out. I have the first batch of them.

These will fit all B-Series and ZC motors.

I will have pictures up soon, but I can say this, you've never seen these before.

Better than anything I've ever seen, including Spoon, Toda, Jun, HKS, and all the others.

Give me an hour to get some pics, and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Retail on these is $400 (yes, I know that's damm expensive)

I believe we (the shop) are going to do an intro special at $300 shipped!

Be back soon!!

Just as a price comparson.....

Toda - Average price $300/pr
Spoon - Average price $400/pr
AEM - Average price $200/pr
Skunk2 - Average price $190/pr
Crower - Average price $260/pr
Fidanza - Average price $220/pr

I'll get more soon.

It a guy local to me that just got into making parts. The gears are patented, and the shop I work for is the distributor of them.

So far, just red, blue, and silver. He has a prototype in Green, but I'll talk to him about different colors like bronze, and gunmetal.

Excellent design. I like the idea if a screw for postive indexing of the gear, rather than just letting it depend on the friction of the bolts. These should never have a slipping problem.

Yea, I know the price is a bit high compared to other stuff, but compared to say HKS or TODA, it's not that bad.

I remember when AEM gears were $160/ea at the local speed shops.

I don't design them, but you can tighten it down, and it shouldn't move. Just as a precaution, maybe some locktite blue would help too!

Pretty nice, but there's one thing... if you're head's milled, the numbers will be off anyway - maybe something for your friend to think about.

Yeah, those gears look nice, but if you've got a milled head, look at the Endyn gears - they have like 5 different keyway mounting positions to correct for the amount your head is milled. Then the A/R numbers actually reflect degrees from "zero".
The Endyn design is the best I've seen.

I tried but they don't have them in the "Components" section for some reason & the forums themselves are down, so I can't do a search to retrieve them.

That really is nice... Anyone who can provide the Endyne pics that would be really great too...

Regards

Teken
Endyne, v-tech, whatever...
The only picture I know of could have been found in the BBS search... BBS is temporarily gone, so if you're interested email staff@theoldone.com

I know sometimes I have to send something 5 times before they reply. But then other times, like the one below, they reply that same day;

"We appreciate your interest.

No, we do not have an estimated date for the "new" forum. Just keep an eye on the website.

Best regards,
Rick"

Hi, I'm 94gsr on your forums & I was just curious if you have an estimated date that the forums will be back up - I think I'm suffering withdrawal!

Thanks.

I don't want to stir up another Endyn bashing thread, but you can also call - 817-763-5553
I've never had a probelm contacting them.

True, but most people don't mill the head enough that it would throw the gear off that far.

As for the Endyn gears, I'd love to see a set of those.

Hey guys, I'm going to be talking with the developer of these gears tomorrow (Tuesday)

Any questions you want me to ask him. Also, what do you think the selling price of these gears should be? $400 is super high for retail, but since this is his first run, maybe he's pricing these out of most peoples range.

Give me some feedback so I can let him know.

Thanks.
