i just ran into a guy with a red 91 dx hatch with a 93 d15b7 ...the head is built , port and polished...and the rods and seals are all high quality...he's got the basics intake header exhaust wires and ignition...short shifter and fuel rail and cam and cam gear...stage 2 clutch...bosch fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator..the guypoo pooin around 14.2 et's on 15" adr rims...with slicks he's doing a high 13.9 ...with a 60 shot of gas he's pullin between 13.1's and 12.95's...he redlines at 7400 rpm!! on a non-vtec sohc 1.5 liter!! this just made me wanna stick with my d15b7 and see where it goes...anybody else got a sohc screamer? just curious...please post pics of your rides and mods...

 

my friends got a d16a6 w/gude head and bottem end in a crx. he runs a 14.0!!

 

Yeah I was thinking of staying with my D15B for a bit, I think it would fun to build one up so you can pull low 14's..... I might....

 

my d15b1 runs mid 15s i might be running a turbo on it soon from a conquest or a thunder bird (same as a svo mustang) should be in the high 13s if tuned right

 

he not running a 1.5L, a good 1.5L NA with crower rods MIGHT get 14.7 on slicks with a custom close ratio tranny.

7400 redline is nothing.

Try 8500 on a long stroke Z6.
