Will adding weight to my civic make my lowering springs settle lower?
i have a 93 hatch a i just got tein s tech lowering springs and tokico white shocks intalled. But the drop on the springs r not as low as would like... i no they still have to settle but dont think they will drop much more.. So I added like 300 pounds to the back of my car and a lil less at the front allready have havey motor in the front. now my car is stilling prity low... Buy doing this u think the springs would settle a bit lower then they normely do? cars stored right now not going to be out tell about a mouth. thank u
Take the weight out, and the ride height will go back. Springs don't settle. Unless you get some bunk *** kmart springs.
If adding weight makes the springs settle lower, then those springs are garbage. It's called sag. I doubt that will happen with the Teins tho.
good drop? go with good coilovers...
happened to me b4...tried out 3 brands of springs, but coilovers was the only thing that made me feel satisfied
