first off, i want real full coilocvers... none of this groundcontrol/skunk2 sleeve crap

I'm also not looking to break the bank, but i'm looking for a decent setup. i'm trying to spend less than 1000 out the door, and the cheaper the better. new, used, i don't care.

Car: EG hatch.
(will take ITR -spec lca's if they are itr spec... not a problem... i got some itr lca's around here somewhere...)

I DON'T want Tien or JIC. Tien's suck. JIC are over rated and over priced (IMO, of course ).

They must be adjustable. no omni powers, "basics", etc... I don't care how many ways they are, but i want at least hi-med-low settings on 'em.

I'm interested in just about anything else. Spring rates i'd like are 12/8 10/8 something like that... none of this 8/6 weaksauce This is for my autoX'er.

show me what you got, and POST A PRICE. I'm not here to make offers and haggle. you KNOW what you want for 'em, so just post it. I'm in central CT, and will consider pickups in the tri-state area or shipping is fine just the same.

I have a set of tein HA's with pillowballs ITR spcec on my del sol. . i've been using them for 3 years.

I hate them.

I think they have too much bound, and not enough rebound. and then when you adjust them for more rebound, you loose your flexibility of the bound and it makes the car loose.

I've probably had more high-dollar suspensions on my cars than either of you, and more so I know what i want, and its NOT a tein product. Am I not intitled to my own opinion?

I've have HA's, I've drive SS', I've driven Flex, I've driven RA's, I've had silkroad RMA8's, i've driven tanabe sustec pro SS, i've driven world sports... and i think the teins were the worst performers out of the group.

Don't beleive the hype or get on the H-T bandwagon.

Tein is really nothing impressive.

youre a ***.. your teins bounced probably cuz you slammed your del slow so you ruined what tein engineered them for. you probably didnt ride at teins recomended hieght ya moron. maybe youre pissed off cuz your sol sucks.

 

Did i say they bounced? no. learn something about suspension dynamics and what bound and rebound mean. i said it made it loose. i didn't say it bounced.

iv never been a fan of skunk2/GC/Tein Adjustable Coil-over systems ... i just stick with a good matched drop spring and shocks ..

bump cause this guy knows EXACTLY what suspenion he wants .. i dont think iv ever seen a WTB that is extremely down to the very last detail ...

I agree with the Tein comments... they really do suck ***. I've got Apex-i N1's on my sol, and they're alright. I've yet to use them for auto-x with the sol,.... but in my 94civic they felt ok.

When i used to race VW's, i had full bilstein/koni coilovers... and i'm not talking about the pss9 pieces of **** either.

How about just rocking koni race, with some 600/500 eibach springs?

haha well i am broke, but not to the point where i have to sell the zeals =P

to pissedoffsol...zeals are awesome. a little harsh on the daily driving side, but by far much better than anything else i've used.
