Toda Cams for the RSX

Don't know if this is old news or not but in the latest Super Street there was an article on the 5zigen RSX Type R and it mentioned the use of Toda cams. Damn every day it looks better and better for RSX owners
Those coilovers look sweet. Bet they cost an arm and a leg. I'm guessing around 2500? Can't wait to see more and more parts trickle out for the TYPE-S.

To our knowledge Toda does have cams but untested at this point. Because of the variable cam timing it is a whole new world in camshaft design. It will not be easy to do. You have to take into consideration the amount of cam degree movement into the design. I believe that the cam has atleast 30 degrees of movement, and was implimented by Acura to help with emissions. We have thought about disabling it and doing conventional VTEC cams instead. For performance it might be the way to go.
