how much can the main journals be regrounded on a gsr crank?

 

not sure how much it can be ground. but when i rebuilt my motor my machinist had my crank sent out to get reground and bearing to fit with perfect clearance.

 

check by seeing what the largest size bearing honda makes for it is, i would assume .020-.030

 

i think the main journals need to be grounded .010 under and the machinist said i could still use std bearings. i'm guessing std bearings from honda, not sure, but he will be the one ordering the bearings for me once all the clearances are checked.

 

.10in and .50in i believe..... u'll be ok jsut make sure it put back together right
